A very long snake, to color the stretch of cycle-pedestrian path that from the Tzamberlet area of Aosta connects the Guido Saba sports area of Plan Félinaz, home of the BeccaVillage. Great show and success beyond all expectations for the second edition of the non-competitive walk BeccaPink, reserved for women and held last night (Friday).
No competitive spirit, only the pleasure of walking and having fun in a group, with the awareness of having made their contribution to the V.I.O.L.A. Association. The numbers of two years ago have doubled with 1,100 people on the starting grid, many requests not accepted in order to guarantee a pleasant and well-managed event. And in the middle of the evening, between viola spritz party, concert by l'Orage and DJ set, applause for the cheque worth 10,800 euros that the organization of the Aosta-Becca di Nona has delivered to the V.I.O.L.A. A great achievement, for an event that has combined sport and solidarity and which is part of the increasingly rich program of the Aosta-Becca di Nona which will end tomorrow (Sunday).
Tiziana Frassy, vice-president of the V.I.O.L.A. association: «Really a pleasant and beautiful evening: doubling the attendance compared to two years ago makes us enormously happy. This initiative allows us to continue our volunteer work, much appreciated by Valle d'Aosta women. Only one thing: 1,100 times thank you!"
