The weather forecast announced for tomorrow (Sunday) leaves little hope for the organizers of the Aosta-Becca di Nona. In consideration of the yellow alert for strong and widespread thunderstorms, issued by the functional center of the Region for tomorrow, the program undergoes some changes.
After analyzing all the factors, ASD Becca di Nona 3142 and the Municipality of Charvensod have decided to change the routes of the Aosta-Comboé and the Aosta-Becca di Nona: for safety reasons the two races will not reach the originally planned arrival points.
The competitors of the two competitive tests, which will start at 8.30 a.m. from Piazza Chanoux, will compete on track 102 already used for the BeccaNight, with passage to San Grato and finish line located in the nearby Pila, in the area of the Aosta-Pila cable car. There will no longer be a distinction between the two races; Only one ranking will be set up.
The decision was also taken to cancel La Montée des Gourmands, a walk to Comboé without ranking and interspersed with tasty refreshments. A non-competitive race, in the name of fun, which loses its charm under the expected rain.
