The first K3000 of Valle d'Aosta will be a competition reserved for only 50 couples, who will propose their candidacy. Co-organized by the Municipality of Charvensod and the ASD Becca di Nona 3142, it will be a completely different event from the Aosta-Becca di Nona.
Forget the goliardia, the party, the "noise" of theAosta-Becca di Nona. A new competition is about to see the light, with a completely different style, to returnThe wild essence of the mountain, the one made of a pure contact with nature, with its difficulties but also with its beauties, and with that spirit of sharing that distinguishes the Alpine peoples. On July 15 there will be the zero edition of "Emilius 3559”, a race that will develop entirely in the territory of Charvensod, starting at the first light of dawn from the Plan-Félinaz sports field and arriving – precisely – at the top of Mount Emilius, at an altitude of 3559 meters.
The first K3000 in Valle d'Aosta will be Corsicanin pairs (male, female or mixed),without refreshments if not some water points, on a path of17 km path to minimum, incomplete autonomy, with the obligation to use thehelmet. With theAosta-Becca di Nona, Emilius 3559 it shares only part of the route, which after Comboé will head towards theArbolle Hut (where there will be atime gate after 2 hours and 30 minutes of competition) and then on thenormal route of the Emilius.
Given these characteristics, it will bea test so as not to rust the organizers of the "Becca" – which will return with its usual festive style in 2024 – which will involveonly 50 pairs, in view of a first official edition in 2025. Some of them will be invited, while others can apply by filling out the form that will be available from May 15 on the websitewww.beccadinona.it: a fundamental condition is that the foreman has completed theAosta-Becca di Nonain 2018, 2021 or 2022 in less than 2 hours and 45 minutes.
TheEmilius 3559is co-organized byCharvensod Municipality andASD Becca di Nona 3142, with the contribution of the Office du Tourisme of the Autonomous Region of Valle d'Aosta.
"Through this first K3000 in Valle d'Aosta, our Municipality wants to promote an intimate and reflective approach to the mountains – explains the mayor of Charvensod,Ronny Borbey. The bond that is created with the uncontaminated nature of our territory thus becomes an opportunity for contact with the deepest part of those who want to participate in Emilius 3559 and, in the future, of those who want to confront themselves, in the silence of a pure environment".
"Organizing a race means committing a lot of energy –StatesMarlène Jorrioz, communication manager of ASD Becca di Nona.Given the enthusiasm shown by all the athletes participating in our competitions, waiting to return in 2024 with the Becca di Nona we decided to create something "light" from an organizational point of view but really "strong" in terms of track. It will be in every sense a launch race, a day to share the true spirit of the mountain on the paths of Charvensod".
