Registrations for the twelfth edition of the twelfth edition of thevertical running "only up"Aosta-Becca di Nona(including reduced route Aosta-Comboé) which from this year is part of the skyrunning circuit"The Sporty Mountain Running® Cup". Registrations to the Montée des GourmandsandBecca Kids, for the latter until Saturday morning (July 16) directly at the sports field and until reaching 300 participants. Closed, however, the registrations for theBecca Pink with 600 registered participants.

Born in 2002, theAosta-Becca di Nonait was the forerunner race of the countlessskyrace, trail and vertical which are currently organized periodically throughout the Alps in the summer. The peculiarity is its format of only ascent and with two routes both with a suggestive departure from Piazza Emile Chanoux, center of Aosta:Aosta-Becca di Nona of about 13 kilometers with 2500 meters of positive difference in height;Aosta – Comboé of about 9 km with 1500 meters of positive difference in altitude. It is a race that in addition to the sporting commitment brings in addition the values of rediscovery of the territory and tourism promotion. The route, in fact, crosses the entire territory of the Municipality of Charvensod winding through varied landscapes, from the plain of Pont-Suaz to the pastures of the capital and the high hamlets, to reach the ponteille waterfalls, the Comboé valley and the top of the Becca, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking and priceless view of the central plain of the Valle d'Aosta.
Many, over the years, athletes who have left their mark in this sporting event overcoming their limits and signing records that still today have remained untouched. Among these is the currently to be beaten record ofNadir Maguet of 1h50'58” for the main race Aosta Becca di Nona, in the Men's category.
Another ten days, therefore, to register for theAosta-Becca di Nona exclusively online on the portalEndu.net, (there is time until30 June 2022 or to the achievement of 650 competitors registered in total (500 for the Becca di Nona and 150 for the Comboé). The uphill running race in a mountain environment that will take place on17 July 2022,it will be the highlight of a week of celebrations on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of the event.
The other sporting events of the week are:BeccaPink, New, non-competitive race for women only of only 5 kilometers with social purpose co-organized with the AssociationV.I.O.L.A.(1in edition; 5 km;15 July 2022, departure at 19:00); theBeccaKids, New, mini race dedicated to children (1st edition; cat. 2007 – 2016;16 July 2022, departure at 10:00); and the non-competitive food and wine walkLa Montée des Gourmands,that allows you to combine sport, nature, good food, party and joy in an ideal combination of knowledge and promotion of the territory (2in edition; 7.3 km – 1300 D+;17 July 2022, departure at 8:45).
The logistics center of the event will be, as always, thePlan Félinaz Locality Sports Fieldin the municipality of Charvensod, where the delivery of the bibs and the Saturday briefing for the athletes will take place, as well as lunch, awards and the final feast on Sunday.
