The "Aosta, Italy – Becca di Nona" returns with a celebratory edition, for its twentieth anniversary, which alternates with the flagship competitions new cultural and food and wine moments, promotion of the territory and solidarity, which will take place over a whole week from 10 to 17 July. On this occasion, the "Aosta – Becca di Nona" also becomes part of the skyrunning circuit "The Sporty Mountain Running® Cup" circuit composed of five of the best Skyrace on the international scene, with dedicated ranking and final prize money and products offered by La Sportiva.
The base of operations will return to being the Sports Field of Plan Félinaz in the Municipality of Charvensod where the "Becca Village" and where the delivery of the bibs and the Saturday briefing for the athletes will take place, as well as lunch, the awards ceremony and the final party on Sunday. Collateral events will also take place here: the BeccaPink, New, non-competitive female run-walk of only 5 kilometers with social purpose, scheduled for the evening of Friday 15 July, starting from the athletics field of Aosta; And the BeccaKids, New, a mini ring race, dedicated to tomorrow's samples that will take place in the morning of Saturday 16 July.
Sunday, July 17 it will be the highlight day with the three top races: theAosta – Becca di Nona (13 km, 2500 m+)TheAosta – Comboé (9 km / 1500 m) and the non-competitive food and wine walk La Montée des Gourmands, that allows you to combine sport, nature, good food, party and joy in an innovative formula of knowledge and promotion of the territory.
The president of A.S.D. Becca di Nona 3142 André Comé expresses cautious optimism: "For July, a health situation is expected to return to almost normal. This allows us to think of a 2022 edition in which to celebrate the twenty years since the birth of the "Becca di Nona Skyrace", the first race that united Aosta with its symbolic mountain. We are therefore planning a week of sporting, cultural and food and wine events with the aim of being able to rediscover that spirit of aggregation that we have put aside a little in the last two years. An event in which sport, the environment and sociality – concludes Comé – allow to promote the excellence of the territory.».
