"The stop imposed by last year's pandemic crisis– explainsAndré Comé president asd Becca 3142 –gave us the opportunity to rethink the sporting event, taking into account health indications and distancing. We have thus reorganized the "Aosta-Becca di Nona" focusing on the sports aspect. This does not mean distorting, we firmly believe that sporting events do not start with the start and do not end with the finish line. For us, sport must create relationships, moments of aggregation, solidarity and territorial promotion. This year, however, we have had to scale back – concludes Comé – in the hope of being able to celebrate with more warmth in the next edition».
Also for theMayor of Charvensod, Ronny Borbey, the Aosta-Becca di Nona, represents the flagship of sporting events in its municipality:"2021 wants to be for us a return to normality and an anticipation of the preparations for the 2022 edition in which we will celebrate the twenty years since the birth of the vertical running "Aosta – Becca di Nona", which we hope to be able to organize with all side events and without any kind of restrictions. The "Aosta – Becca di Nona" is for our Administration an event in which sport, the environment and the territory intertwine and complement each other. Reaching the summit of Becca –concludes Mayor Borbey –it is not only a challenge, but becomes an invitation to go down a stretch of road where you can find yourself to look at reality from another perspective».
For theMayor of Aosta, Gianni Nuti the "Aosta – Becca di Non" represents"an important step towards a return to a normality of behaviors and way of life so hoped for after more than a year of suffering for our community due to the pandemic and the consequent periods of lockdown, but also the expression of the desire to reappropriate time and a significant part of freedom.
For years – concludes Mayor Nuti -the ascent to Becca di Nona represented an event of great symbolic value for Aosta, a moment of encounter between athletes, amateurs, enthusiasts and simple citizens, a day of celebration but also of reflection on the relationship with the summit that dominates and characterizes the natural "skyline" of the capital».
Further details on the course of the event will be communicated in the coming months. For more information on the regulation and the trend of registrations, please consult the official website.
