Record numbers for the 2018 edition of the Aosta-Becca di Nona, the race that takes place every 2 years from the center of Aosta to the summit of the Becca di Nona (altitude 3142m), skyrunning race in a single ascent version, with 13 km of development for a difference in height of 2500 meters. Registrations closed from June 30th, with 900 bibs assigned to as many runners who will face the vertical challenge of the Aosta-Becca di Nona, and of the reduced version Aosta – Comboè (9km 1500m D +).
In reality, it will still be possible until Friday, July 13, to grab one of the coveted bibs for the great novelty of 2018: La Montée des Gourmands. The non-competitive food and wine walk of 9km and 1500m D + currently has 115 members. The “Gourmands” they will be able to taste some of the best products of the territory accompanied by the music of the Valle d'Aosta folk groups in an innovative path in stages.
For latecomers who decide to face the vertical challenge of the Becca di Nona or the Aosta-Comboé, 40 solidarity bibs are still available at a cost of 40 euros. Until July 13th it will therefore still be possible to participate in the competitive event and support the Sanonani Onlus association (http://www.sanonani.house), the family home created in Nepal to help orphaned children or disadvantaged families, on the initiative of the mountaineer Marco Camandona and his wife Barbara Luboz”
