Sunday, July 17th returns, after three years of absence and thanks to the Municipality of Charvensod and the newborn Sports Association Becca di Nona 3142, the suggestive race in the Aosta mountains – Becca di Nona which will have, from this edition, a biennial cadence. Born in 2002, the Aosta – Becca di Nona was the forerunner race of the skyrace, trail and vertical that current events propose. Great news for this first re-edition, the race will take place in fact in the format of only ascent and with two routes: Aosta – Becca di Nona of about 13 kilometers with 2500 meters of positive difference in height; Aosta – Comboé of about 9 km with 1500 meters of positive difference in height. "The race will always start from the suggestive setting of Piazza Emile Chanoux in Aosta to cross the entire territory of Charvensod; competitors will be able to discover the natural beauty of our Municipality and appreciate the variety of landscapes that compose it; from the plain of Pont-Suaz to the pastures of the capital and the high hamlets, to reach the Ponteille waterfalls, the Comboé valley and the top of our Becca, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking and priceless view of the central plain of the Valle d'Aosta", says the mayor of Charvensod Ronny Borbey.
The deputy mayor and councilor for sport Laurent Chuc declares: "The logistics and organizational center of the event will be the sports area of Plan-Félinaz of Charvensod, which will be operational from Saturday 16 July to host the pre-race briefing and, in conjunction, the Sports Festival, during which the sports associations that gravitate to the municipal territory will be awarded , also to give blazon and importance to the first reissue of Aosta – Becca di Nona there will be the Salomon brand, which wanted to join the event and which will be the technical sponsor of the competition.
